Thank you for stopping by Boyd Greene Fine Art for a browse, it was a treat seeing this Crawdad beside Bald River lying on a rock.  It brought back a lot of childhood memories of catching Crawdads for school and for fishing bait.

This mud bug appears to be on a 'blue shift'. As a 2 yr vet of Layfayette (LA) I am use to seeing them more on the 'red' side. Nice pic.

I've seen pics of reds but I have never seen one in person. The ones I've seen are either brown or blue in color.
