” ARTrageous ANTICS” Event

Please pass on this invitation to anyone you think could be interested …..

**You are invited to participate in an upcoming event presented by Northwest Georgia Arts Guild…. ” ARTrageous ANTICS” …. a day to discover the arts by children of all ages.

Sat. June 13th at the Foothills Gallery, 309 N. Main St., LaFayette, GA 30728, 10 am - 4 pm   time?

The invitation is for artisans, in any medium, including the performing arts of music dance and drama, to come, introduce, and promote their talents with hands on interaction with the public.  There are no fees for participants, just come and set up a spot.  No fees for the public, just a fun day of discovering the arts and personal potential.

This is not a show and sell event, but a demonstration and involvement day.   Painters will put a paintbrush in the hand of a youth that has never held one, woodworkers will demonstrate their skills and may hand out wood chips to look at and feel the grain, storytellers will ask their audience for help to form a story, musicians will bring instruments for others to try, potters will have clay to feel and form, etc., etc., etc.  Each participant will engage their audience in their own way.  Of course participants are allowed to hand out business cards.

Please let me know your interest, or for more information, ASAP for preliminary planning and publicity purposes at sperrykc@aol.comor 706 764-2656.

Thank you for your help, my hope is that this event will become an annual event to give area artisans a chance to share and mentor their skills for the future.

Karen works real hard to promote the arts in my area, so if you can create a little buzz it would be much appreciated. Thank you for stopping by Boyd Greene Fine Art for a browse.
